Days 16, 17, and 18

More good news on Friday: Going Too Far is a finalist in the National Readers' Choice Awards! I am so excited! My friend Kelley St. John won this award in 2006. Then in 2007, when we were both finalists, she told me if you win, you get a TOMBSTONE! I said, "Kelley, come on now, you do not get a TOMBSTONE." Sure enough.

Gosh, was my hair ever that short?

During April I am finishing the proofs of Forget You (CHECK!), dealing with the ARCs (CHECK!), and writing 40,000 words of the new novel.

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, I planned to write 2500 words each day. I actually wrote 1240, 740, and 2539. Loser, loser, parade!

Today I will write 2500.

How did you do?

How much you are writing in April

How much you said you would write over the weekend

How much you actually wrote

What you did to fix these novels you seem to be hating (Have you tried setting them at the lake or the beach? This always works for me. Also dye your heroine's hair blue. Also name your villain after your ex-boyfriend.)

How much you will write today
