Friends on TV!

The Romance Writers of America convention is going on now in San Francisco. I wish I'd gone, but I went the last three years and I'm staying home this year. Anyway, I can live vicariously because The Today Show reported on it! You can see the clip here. The "frenzied excitement" and all the other scenes of lots of people in a large room are the literacy charity booksigning with 500 authors--lots of fun. Near the beginning, the woman dreaming of Patrick Dempsey is none other than fashionista_35! The woman who says, "It's like really good sex!" is Smart Bitch Sarah, who once posted such a kind review of my first novel, Major Crush. And when the voice-over says, "stay-at-home moms..." look, quick, that's Kelley St. John's book To Catch a Cheat shown for a fraction of a second!

Can't wait to live vicariously through the awards ceremony tonight, because my critique partner Catherine Chant is up for the highest award for an unpublished romance novel, the Golden Heart! Fingers crossed...
