THE NAUGHTY LIST

As if being a purrfect cheerleader isn’t enough responsibility! Tessa Crimson’s the sweet and spunky leader of the SOS (Society of Smitten Kittens), a cheer squad–turned–spy society dedicated to bringing dastardly boyfriends to justice, one cheater at a time. Boyfriend-busting wouldn’t be so bad . . . except that so far, every suspect on the Naughty List has been proven 100% guilty!

When Tessa’s own boyfriend shows up on the List, she turns her sleuthing skills on him. Is Aiden just as naughty as all the rest, or will Tessa’s sneaky ways end in catastrophe?
The Naughty List. Is your boyfriend on it?

Look out for the series: The Naughty List-2/4/10, So Many Boys-6/10/10, A Good Boy is Hard to Find-10/2010

Jenn: In my book The Ex Games, Hayden has to overcome her fear of heights to make it as a professional snowboarder. What are your characters afraid of, and how do they conquer their fears?

Suzanne: Tessa is afraid of not being perfect and disappointing people. She’ll have to
overcome that to find the right balance and make herself happy.

Jenn: What has been your greatest fear as a writer, and how have you dealt with it? I’ve dealt with it?

Suzanne: Lol I’m terrified about my book being released. I guess in a way, I’m a lot like my character. I’m really afraid of disappointing people.

Jenn: In The Ex Games, Hayden goes head-to-head with her ex-boyfriend in a snowboarding challenge. Are you involved in any sports? How do you think being a woman has affected you as an athlete?

Suzanne: I was never a great athlete. More than anything, I just really wasn’t tall enough for the sport I loved—basketball. But my characters are cheerleaders and take the
sports aspect very seriously.

Jenn: For good or ill, I design my own web site. Who designed yours? What’s your favorite part of your web site that you wish more people would visit?

Suzanne: I had a website, but had a hard time updating it. Now I have a blog that I
update constantly and I love it! I also have a blog for The Naughty List, which has been really fun: www.thecheaterreport.blogspot.com.

Congratulations on your new book, Suzanne! AND congrats on your latest sale!

Suzanne Young's A NEED SO BEAUTIFUL, in which a 17-year-old discovers that by performing the good deeds that her body compels her to, she will disappear into the Light and be forgotten, but by fighting "the Need," her fate could be even more dire, to Donna Bray at Balzer and Bray, in a two-book deal, in a pre-empt, by Jim McCarthy at Dystel & Goderich Literary Management(World English).
